Interested in healing, but don't know where to start?

Everyone is on a journey of self-healing, whether they know it or not. Even if you are not suffering from any kind of physical ailment there are still emotional issues that need to be worked through. That is part of the human experience. If you are like many of us, some of those issues have lead to anxiety, fear, anger, sadness, grief and a slew of other rather unpleasant emotions and responses. Now the big question: How do we work through these? Is there a way to move through them quickly and get back onto the road of happiness?

Alternative healing therapies such as meditation and mindfulness tend to be controversial topics. However, there are many different ways to heal yourself aside from western medicine. A lot of proven alternative healing therapies to pain focus on the mind and body working together for alleviation of pain. Also, through an exploration of alternative therapies, there are many aspects of our lives including our relationships, environment, addictions, food and nutrition that can all affect our health and wellbeing. What if we looked at pain not only as a physical sensation but how it effects every aspect of our life? Through this lens, we can avoid triggering or perpetuating cycles of dark emotions that can lead us further down a negative path from which we might not be able to get back up.

Let me introduce to you to The Healer's Yurt. We offer alternative therapies, focused on promoting awareness and education into the benefits of improving your health through a whole range of different holistic therapies - primarily holistic mindfulness, meditation and Reiki.
