Make this year your best: No clichés, just achievable goals

Forget New Year, New You mentality. 2021 is the year of New Year, BETTER YOU.

2020 has been… a year, which makes getting a fresh start in 2021 feel super appealing. For some people, that might mean making a New Year’s resolution that helps them get the year started on the right foot. Warning: More than half of all resolutions fail, but this year, they don’t have to be yours. You’ll give yourself your best shot at success if you set a goal that’s doable — and meaningful too.

There's a million cliché resolutions many of us our guilty of. "Dry January", outrageous diet plans, exercise regimes we hate, grovelling at our boss's feet and more.

This year, I invite you to change the perspective on the New Year. Let's take a common example, if it truly is your goal to change your eating habits how about focusing on being more mindful about one or all of the following areas: how you cook your food, how you source it, and how you eat it. Importantly, you don’t have to tackle all of these at once.

Many of us may find that our usual goals we make year in and year out just aren't serving and satisfying us anymore. This where I would like to bring the focus away from the literal meaning health, and towards emotional and spiritual wellbeing.

Focusing on wellness surpasses health goals. As well as focusing on keeping fit and maintaining our recommended goals, we are thriving, going above and beyond those goals all while enjoying the journey we are on.

If you are new to wellness practices such as Reiki, mindfulness and meditation, what better time that the New Year to experiment and find what's right for you. I hope to make our first session as informative and as valuable as possible, especially for new faces. Our session can be totally tailored to your needs. Contact me today to begin your 2021 on the right path.
